In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:
It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.
We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.
This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.
Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.
It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
It’s highly probable this software program is malicious or contains unwanted bundled software.
Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are likely to be real positives.

Outstanding!.
Best calculator available anywhere! Wish there was an iPhone version. If its not on the canned functions, write your own.

If you don't use it you are probably missing out..
It is the preferred calculator on anyone's computer. Once you have agreed to rethink calculator use to accept RPN you will not be happy with any other calculator. I learnt RPN on HP handheld machines, and now use Excalibur on every machine I use.
Pros:
RPN
The different categories of function
Cons:
The programming language is a bit close to assembler for programmers who do not use assembler. More

must have for hp calc users.
excellent for those doing work on the computer and natually want their caclculator there not buried. I have it set to hot key Alt-ctl-C and with just a keystroke can get my calculator in my face.
Pros:
excellent. functional. handy
Cons:
need ipad app. need mouseover of functions showing the hotkey.
need programmable hotkeys, I like 1/x and the clear stack is next to exchange key More

haven't found ANY issues with it in years of use.
For day-to-day calculations, this app should meet your every need. As developer Dave B notes in his help file, there may be some precision issues that cannot be easily remedied due to floating point representation on the PC, but any user worried about precision at 1E-08 would & ought to be using some other app. Pros:
RPN (it rules, y'know!)
8-element stack
scientific, programmer and conversion functions
fraction entry
Cons:
Trivial improvements:
- Would like improved indications -- cues or clues in the GUI graphic or in mouse-over pop-ups -- to speed key association with row+column in the 10x4 function button array.
- would like to be able to change/select a function bank w/o resorting to the mouse to do so. More

Using the Excalibur .
I am a mechanical engineer and have been using Hewlett Packard programmable calculators over for over 40 years and as a result am an ardent supporter of the RPN system.
A associate of mine introduced me to Excalibur some 10 years ago.
I have been using this software exclusively as it is more convenient and provides all the features found on my HP calculator.
Pros:
Convenient PC based More

Excellent free utility.
As a mathematician--an algebraist to be specific--I find RPN practically and philosophically superior to (and more algebraic in nature than) so-called algebraic notation. I've used excalibur for many years. It is one of the first additions when I upgrade my computer. More
